All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Town of Duncansville Written: May 8, 1886 Recorded: May 14, 1887 Blair County Deed Book 64 pages 370-371 David Koon to Elizabeth Koon This Indenture made the Eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty six between David Koon of Allegheny Township Blair County Pennsylvania of the first part and Elizabeth Koon his wife of the second part. Witnesseth That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollars [sic], lawful money of the United States of America, unto me well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. All that certain half lot of ground in the town of Duncansville Blair County Pennsylvania. It being the eastern one half of lot twenty three (23) in the plan of said town fronting on Market Street and extending back at right angles to the Railroad and part of lot which sold by order of the Orphans Court as the property of John Confer deceased, and the title to which became vested in Samuel Confer deceased and on his death by order of said Orphans Court was decreed to Mrs. Matilda A. Confer his widow and by the same Matilda A. Confer by her deed dated the first day of April AD 1868 and Recorded in office for recording Deeds on the eight day of April AD 1868 in Book Vol U page 542 &c to the grantor reference to which will more fully appear. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, in law equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof, To Have and to Hold the said house and lot hereditaments, and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever. And David Koon the said party of the first part, for himself his heirs, executors and administrators, doth by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns that he the said party of the first part, his heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned, and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, against the said party of the first part and his heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Shall and Will Warrant and Forever Defend. In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part has to these presents set his hand and seal. Dated the day and year first above written. On the Eighth day of May Anno Domini 1886 before me a Justice of the peace came the above named David Koon and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be his act and deed, and desired that the same might be recorded as such.
