Koon et al to Landis A. Koon This Indenture made the nineteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety five between Jonathan B. Koon and Anna M. his wife, Samuel A. Koon and Sarah E, his wife of Altoona Blair County Pennsylvania parties of the first part and Landis A. Koon, of the same place party of the second part: Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of natural love and affection and one dollar, lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid, by the said part- of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, All their right, title and interest (being the undivided two thirds) in and to all that certain lot of ground situated on 16th street Altoona Pennsylvania between 12th and 13th Avenues and described as follows: Beginning at a point at the center division line of the double dwelling house and numbered 1208 and 1210 Sixteenth Street. Thence in a westerly direction along said 16th street a distance of thirty six (36) feet more or less to an alley adjoining properties of C Brenorecke, Thence along said alley in a northerly direction fifty one (51) feet more or less to a private alley; Thence along said private alley towards 12th Avenue in an Easterly direction thirty six (36) feet, more or less, to property of Landis Koon, Thence in a southerly direction running along lot of said Landis Koon a distance of fifty one (51) feet more or less to 16th Street the place of beginning. Having thereon erected the one half of a double two story frame dwelling house, and being the same premises which Samuel Koon by his last will and testament dated September 24th 1884 and recorded in Blair County in Will Book 6 page 446 & c directed to be sold and equally divided among his three sons, Jonathan, Samuel and Landis, the parties hereto and the object of this deed being to vest the entire title to said property in Landis A. Koon party of the second part. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof: and all the estate right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said part of the first part, in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof: To have and to Hold the said House and piece or parcel of ground hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do, by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, by from or under them. City of Altoona On the Nineteenth day of March Anno Domini 1890, before me, an Alderman in and for said City &c came the above-named Jonathan B. Koon and Anna M. his wife, Samuel A. Koon and Sarah E. his wife and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired That the same might be recorded as such. The said Mrs. Anna M. Koon and Mrs. Sarah E. Koon being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from their said husbands, and the full contents of the foregoing Indenture being first made known to them, declared that they did, voluntarily and of their own free will and accord sign, seal, and as their act and deed, deliver the same, without any coercion or compulsion of their said husbands.
