  This Indenture made the ninth day of January in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred forty seven between Elizabeth Koon (widow) 
of the County of Blair of the one part and David Koon and John Stiffler 
and Catharine his wife of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said 
Elizabeth Koon for and in consideration of the natural love and 
affection which she hath always borne and doth still bear towards the 
said parties of the second part as well as in consideration of the 
maintenance now afforded her by the said parties of the second part and 
also for the sum of One Dollar money of the United States to her in 
hand paid by the said parties of the second part, at and before the 
unsealing and delivery of these presents the receipt and payment 
whereof she doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever 
discharge the said parties of the second part their heirs executions 
and administrations by these present hath granted, enfeoffed, released 
and confirmed and by those presents hath granted, bargained, sold, 
aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by these present doth 
grant, bargain, sell,alien, enfeoff, release and confirmed unto the 
said parties of the second part and to their heirs and assigns, All 
that Tract or parcel of land situated and lying in Frankstown Township 
in the County of Blair in the state of Pennsylvania on the north side 
of Piney Ridge on the waters of the Frankstown Branch. Beginning at a 
Black oak running north sixty five degrees east one hundred and twenty 
six perches to a white oak thence north thirty-four degrees west 
eighty-eight perches to a post, Thence south sixty two degrees west 
sixty-five perches to a white oak thence north Five degrees East 
seventy eight perches to a post, Thence sixty five and one half degrees 
west ninety nine perches adjoining lands of George Elliot to a chestnut 
oak, Thence south nineteen and one half degrees East 228 perches to the 
place of beginning.  Adjoining lands of George Elliot on the north, C. 
Gost On the east, J. G. Mileson on the south, and A. Vanalman on the 
west containing one hundred and two acres more or less, surveyed with 
the usual allowance of six percent for roads, surveyed the 12th day of 
October 1789 in pursuance of a warrant dated the 20th day of January 
1786 in the name of William Divinney . . . . 
  Together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, rights, 
liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever 
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and 
remainders rents issues and profits thereof, and also all the estate, 
right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said 
Elizabeth Koon in law equity or otherwise howsoever of into or out of 
the same. To have and to hold that said tract or parcel hereditaments 
and premises hereby granted mentioned or intended so to be with the 
appurtenances with the said parties of the second part their heirs and 
assigns, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said parties 
of the second part their heirs and assigns to the only proper use, 
benefit, and behoof of the said parties of the second part their heirs 
and assigns forever. In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto 
interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above 
written.

Cottibaugh Received on the day of the date of the above Indenture of 
and from the above named David Koon, John Stiffler and Catharine his 
wife in the sum of One Dollar in full for the consideration money above
