All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Frankstown Township Written: October 20, 1851 Recorded: December 7, 1855 Blair County Deed Book Vol. F Page 393 Deed Christian Koon & wife to Peter Morrets This Indenture made the 20th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one between Christian Koon of Frankstown Twp., Blair county and state of Pennsylvania and Hannah his wife of the first part and Peter Morrets of the county and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of thirty six dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at and before the unsealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain tenement or tract of land situate in Frankstown Township Blair County bounded as follows viz: Beginning at a post south sixty eight, east thirty five and a half perches to a white oak thence by lands of Solomon Cassner north fifty three east forty four and three fourth degrees to a pine, thence north forty five east eighteen perches to a pine thence south forty one and a half west eleven and three fourths to centre of pond, thence south fifty one west eleven perches to a pine, thence by land of Peter Morrets (partly hereto) south four west twenty five and three fourths to the place of beginning containing six acres fifty five and three fourths perches it being the same tract or parcel of land surveyed thirteenth of March eighteen hundred and fifty nine[sic] in the name of John Gibson. Together with all and singular the houses, outhouses, ways, woods, waters, water courses, rights liberties, privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of them the said parties of the first part in law, equity or otherwise of in to the same and every part and parcel thereof (the road leading through the same excepted) to have and to hold the said tract of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted do with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Morrow Blair County SS: Be it remembered that on the day of the written Indenture before me the subscriber on of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Blair came the named Christian Koon and Hannah his wife and acknowledged the above written indenture to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such according to law. The said Hannah being of full age and by me fulled [sic] examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents thereof being first made known by her declared that she did of her own free will and accord seal and as her act and deed deliver the said Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
