Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid, by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and, by these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever, All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in Allegheny Township, Blair County, Penna described as follows: Beginning at a post on the Public road lead from Bennington to Hollidaysburg, via Carson Valley and Thence, by the same, south 68 degrees 30' east forty two (42) perches, Thence by land of said D. Koon north 266 degrees East seventy three 3/10 (77.3) perches to a post Thence by same, north 61 degrees 30' west Forty two (42) perches to a post & pointers, Thence by land of Jacob W. Shiffler's heirs, South 26 degrees West seventy nine (79) perches to the place of beginning containing Twenty acres. This being part of a larger tract which David Albaugh and wife, by their deed dated April 1st 1841 and which is recorded in Book C page 7-9 in the office of the recorder of deeds in Huntingdon County conveyed to David & Samuel Koon reference being had thereto will more fully and at large appear. Together with all and singular the improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof: and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part, in law equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof: To Have and to hold the said piece of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part, their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described, and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Shall and Will Warrant and Forever Defend In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the first part hath to these presents set their hands and seals. Shoenfelt Walisha Zeigler State of Pennsylvania County of Blair SS. On the Fifth day of Apr. Anno Domini 1886, before me, a Justice of the Peace came the above-named David Koon, Sen and Elisebeth M. Koon his wife and acknowledged the foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed, and desired that the same might be recorded as such. The said Elisebeth Koon being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, and the full contents of the foregoing Indenture being first made known to her, declared that she did, voluntarily and of her own free will and accord, sign, seal, and as her act and deed, deliver the same, without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
