Roudabush This Indenture made the Second day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine (1909) between Lavenia J. Kuhn, widow of Samuel Kuhn, deceased, of the City of Altoona, County of Blair and state of Pennsylvania party of the first part, and David M. Roudabush of the City, County and state aforesaid party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar and other good and valuable considerations lawful money of the United States of America, unto her well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, All her right, title and interest, being her dower interest in and to all that certain piece of ground, situate, lying and being in the said City of Altoona, County of Blair, and state of Pennsylvania beginning at a distance of Forty-four and 54/100 (44.54) feet from the intersection of the Northeastern line of Sixteenth (16th) Street with the Northwestern line of Twelfth (12th) Avenue; thence in a Northeasterly direction Twenty-eight and 71/100 (28.71) feet along said Twelfth (12th) Avenue to a point; Thence at right angles to said Twelfth (12th) Avenue in a Northwesterly direction one hundred and twenty (120) feet to an alley; Thence in a southwesterly direction along said alley a distance of Twenty eight and 71/100 (28.71) feet to a point; Thence at right angles to said alley in a Southeasterly direction one hundred and twenty (120) feet to said Twelfth Avenue and place of beginning and being the same property a life interest in which became vested in said Lavenia Kuhn by the Last will and Testament of Samuel Kuhn, deceased, which Will is recorded at Hollidaysburg in Will Book "E" page 446. Together with all and singular the improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof, and all the estate, right title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part in law, equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof. To Have and to Hold the said part of lot or piece of ground with the hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And Lavenia Kuhn the said party of the first part, for herself, her heirs, executors and administrators, doth by these presents covenant, grant, and agree, to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that she the said party of the first part, her heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the said party of the first part, and her heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Shall and will Warrant and Forever Defend.
