All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Frankstown Written: April 1, 1856 Recorded: October 3, 1912 Blair County Pa Deed Book 312 page 578 Deed from John Shubert et ux to John Lounchbich This indenture made the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six between John Shubert of Frankstown, Blair County and state of Pennsylvania and Christiana his wife of the first part and John Lounchbich of the town, County & state aforesaid, of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. A certain lot of ground with a small plastered house thereon erected situate in Frankstown Extended bounded by lots of James Condron James Conroy and Turnpike & Penna. Canal. It being the same lot of ground which Michael Hileman and Margaret his wife by indenture bearing date fourth May 1833 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto David H. Moore his heirs & assigns. And the same lot of ground known by No. 29 in the said plan and draft of the said Extension of the town of New Frankstown was by assignment made on the 1st day of April 1854 by David Moore & Caroline his wife to the said John Shubert relation being thereunto had will more fully & at large appear. Together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining; and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and all the estate, right title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said parties of the first part, in law equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof. To have and to hold the said house & lot of ground hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part, their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals. Dated the day and year first above written. The first day of April Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared the above named John Shubert and Christiana his wife and due form of law acknowledged the above Indenture to be there act and deed and desired the same might be recorded as such. And the said Christiana being of full age and separate and apart from her said husband by me thereon privately examined, and the full contents of the above Deed being by me first made known unto her did thereupon declare and say that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign, seal, and as her act and deed, deliver the above Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
