Wm. Shultzeberger to Abraham Yingling This Indenture made the twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy one between Wm. Shultzeberger and Catherine his wife of Altoona, County of Blair and State of Pennsylvania of the first part and Abraham Yingling of the same place county and state of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the United States of America well and truly paid by the said parties of the second part to the said party of the first part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all a certain tract or piece of ground situate formerly in East Loudensville in Altoona County of Blair and State of Pennsylvania fronting fifty (50) feet on the south side of Adaline Street now 7th avenue and extending back one hundred and twenty (120) feet to an alley (fifteen feet wide) run along said alley fifty (50) feet to Lot no 11 thence at right angles along said lot no 11 block BB to 7th avenue one hundred and twenty (120 ) feet being marked No. 10 in Block BB in the plan of that part of Loudensville that lays south of the Hollidaysburg Branch Road. The said lot being part of a larger tract of land known as the Louden Farm the title to said Farm having by summary Deed of Conveyance became vested as Wm. Louden (deceased). The said Lot no 10 Block BB having been conveyed by the heirs of said Wm. Louden and John Louden dated July 11 A.D. 1866 to Eliza Aikens and by deed of conveyance from Eliza Aiken and Samuel Aiken to the parties of the first part dated May 24th A.D. 1869. Together with all and singular the improvements, ways, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof: and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said part of the first part, in law equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof: To Have and to hold the said piece of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part, their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they the said party of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described, and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Shall and Will Warrant and Forever Defend. William Shultzeberger Catherine Shultzeberger Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of William Exlan John Hickey On the tenth day of May Anno Domini 1871 before me personally appeared the above named William Shultzeberger and Catherine Shultzeberger his wife and in due form o flaw acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. The Said Catherine Shultzeberger being of full age, and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, and the full contents of the foregoing Indenture being first made known to her, declared that she did, voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign, seal, and as her act and deed, deliver the same, without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
