Between Jacob Walter of Frankstown Township in the County of Huntingdon and state of Pennsylvania of the one part and Jacob Weaver of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty one dollars lawful money of Pennsylvania in hand paid by the said Jacob Weaver to the said Jacob Walter (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) he the said Jacob Walter have granted, bargained, sold, released and confirmed and by these presents. Do grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm to the said Jacob Weaver his heirs and assigns all that Lot of ground situate in the town of Duncansville in the County of Huntingdon lying and being on the southside of the turnpike road and in front on the said road fifty feet and extending in depth at right angles to said street or road two hundred feet to a sixteen foot alley called South Alley as laid out on the ground and marked number one in the plan of said town, entered on record in the office for recording of Deeds in and for the County of Huntingdon (Recorded in Book U page 15) reference thereunto being had will more fully and at large appear. To have and to hold the said described lot of ground and the appurtenances hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be, with all and singular the rights, liberties, privileges and hereditaments thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said Jacob Weaver his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Jacob Walter for himself and his heirs by and with the said Jacob Weaver doth agree that he the said Jacob Walter will from himself and his heirs and from all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same shall and will forever warrant and defend by these presents. Connell Recorded 10th August 1840 John Reed Recorder Assignment Jacob Weaver and wife to David Koon Endorsed on foregoing Deed Know all men by these presents That Jacob Weaver the grantor within named and Margaret his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty five dollars to them in hand paid by David Koon of Frankstown Township Huntingdon County and state of Pennsylvania, at and before the unsealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge Have granted, bargained, sold, assigned and set over, and by these presents Do grant bargain, sell, assign, and set over unto the said David Koon his heirs and assigns all that within mentioned and described lot of ground. Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the remainders rents issues and profits thereof. To have and to Hold the said Lot of ground hereby granted and assigned or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said David Koon his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said David Koon his heirs and assigns forever and the said Jacob Weaver and Margaret his wife their heirs, the said hereby granted or assigned premises with the appurtenances unto the said David Koon and his heirs and assigns against them the said Jacob Weaver and Margaret his wife and their heirs and against all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any of them, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 12th day of February A. D. 1834. Sealed and delivered in presence of Jacob Weaver Jno M. Gibboney Margaret X (her mark) Weaver Huntingdon County SS Let it be known that on the 12th day of February A. D. 1834 before me the subscriber, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said county, came the above named Joseph Weaver and Margaret his wife and acknowledged the above written assignment to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such according to law. She the said Margaret being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband did declare that she did of her own free will without any compulsion of her said husband sign, seal, and deliver as her act and deed the above assignment. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year above written. Jno M.
