From: "The Gallant Eighty-fourth," Altoona Tribune Coverage of the Civil War, 1862, Hollidaysburg, PA: Blair County Genealogical Society, 2003, page 24. Lieut. O'Neill (Capt. Crissman's Company,) took twenty-two men into battle, and brought out four. Wm. Hileman, who was seriously wounded, managed, with great pain, to get upon his side, and fired seven rounds at the enemy, resting his rifle upon a rail, and each ball found its rebel victim. Charles Curry, of the same company, also did the same thing. Severely wounded and unable to stand, he lay upon the ground and fired twenty-five rounds at the foe, with what success we have not heard. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tombstone photo: http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/1picts/cemeteries/calvary/curry-chas- m.jpg
