Robison, Logan Township ** Sir: You are hereby notified, that you were on the 2nd day of June, 1864, legally drafted in the service of the United States for a period of three years, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Congress, "for enrolling and calling out the national forces, and for other purposes," approved on March 3, 1863. You will accordingly report, on 16th day of June, at the place of rendezvous, in Hollidaysburg, or be deemed a deserter, and subject to the penalty prescribed there for by the Rules and Articles of War. Robison of Logan Township, Blair County, State of Pennsylvania, having given satisfactory evidence that he is not properly subject to do military duty, as required by said act, Fact approved on February 24, 1864, Having Hard Circumstances, is exempt from all liability to military duty for the present draft.
