Railroad Company are erecting a round house and a number of shops at Tyrone, which will be quite an addition to that flourishing village. Watch Presentation - Mr. John Nicholas. late foreman of the P.R.R. Machine Shop, at Altoona, was presented with a valuable gold watch by the employees of that establishment as a token of their remembrance and esteem. Horse Stolen - A dark iron gray draft horse was stolen from the stable of Philip Bartlebaugh, Blair Furnace, this county, on the night of the 11th inst. Mr. B. offers a reward of $50 for the recovery of the horse and the apprehension of the thief, or $25 for either. Accident - Col. John Piper, Assistant Provost Marshal of this county, met with a painful accident on Monday of last week. While driving in a sulky, one of the wheels came off, and he was thrown to the ground with such force as to dislocate one of his shoulders, besides sustaining other bruises. His injuries were properly attended to, and we--- pleased to learn that he is mending rapidly.
