(Altoona, Pa.) March 18, 1858 Son of John Harnish A son of John Harnish, of the Loop, about 9 or 10 years of age, met with an accident on Wednesday last which came very near resulting in his death. He was playing on the hay mow, when he accidentally slipped and fell, head foremost, upon the barn floor, a distance of 10 to 15 feet, producing a severe contusion of the brain. His injuries were properly treated by Dr. Landis and he is recovering as rapidly as possible. - Hol.
