The couple has three sons, Andy Hewitt of 3810 Fifth avenue, Arthur Hewitt, jr., of Reservoir and Frank Hewitt at home, and four grandchildren, Nancy, Connie, Lucille and Marilyn Hewitt. The following tribute was penned in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hewitt: To Mom and Pop Hewitt 'Twas only a short time ago, They both said "I do." For "better" or "worse." Marriage joined these "happy two." The road has been rough and the grade steep to climb; But sharing it "together" has ceased all time. For here we have a truly happy pair, Loving each other with a love that is "rare." Many of their friends share this glad day with them, In wishing them "happiness" to the earth's very end. May the future hold joy throughout each new day, As you celebrate your 40th anniversary in your own solemn way.
