H. Keagy, at 203 East Fourth avenue, in which the four contracting parties were in attendance and received the congratulations of friends and neighbors. The first wedding was held at Cumberland on August 22, when Miss Naomi Keagy was married to Mr. Harry Siders of Harrisburg, at the Methodist church at Cumberland by the Rev. Dawson, pastor of the church. The groom had previously been accepted by the local draft board at Harrisburg, but only to be rejected later at camp. They will reside at Harrisburg, where the groom is employed with the P.R.R. there. The second wedding took place at Canton, O., on September 2, Labor Day. The bride was Miss Grace Keagy and the groom Mr. George Veitch, of Canton. The bride has resided with her grandmother for the past year at Canton, while the groom is employed there at the Timkins Roller Bearing Manufacturing company. The parents witnessed the wedding ceremony. When the parents returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Veitch, a surprise awaited them. They found that their daughter Naomi had become the wife of Mr. Harry Siders and that both were awaiting them at home. Accordingly, the presence of the two couples was made the occasion for general rejoicing and culminating in the wedding supper held at the home of the parents last evening. The guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dailey, Mrs. William Keagy, Mrs. W. Fink and family, Mr. Fred Houser and family, Mr. William Biggard and family, Mrs. Harry Loner and family, Mr. Daniel Tritl and family, and Mrs. Mary Oswald, aged 84 years.
