Martin, of 1500 Seventh Avenue, to Join Engineers. Harry G. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Martin, of 1500 Seventh avenue, and a former Tribune carrier, has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States army Engineers. He was born and reared in the city and on leaving school entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad company. He is young and active and his knowledge of railroad work will stand him in good stead in the army. He will leave sometime during the present week for one of the training camps and expects to go overseas in the very near future. Altoona Tribune, Monday, August 26, 1918, page 5
