Edward M. Bowman, the new pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Hollidaysburg, and the Rev. Alexander F. Walker, the principal of the Hollidaysburg seminary, were welcomed to Masonic friendship in Blair county. Covers were laid for seventy-five guests and several lodges were represented in the assemblage. Brethren were present from Altoona, Roaring Spring, Williamsburg and Duncansville. The oldest Mason present was James M. Kimports, of West Virginia, who had been a member of the craft for a half century. Robert W. Smith was toastmaster and addresses were made by Rev. Edward M. Bowman, Rev. Alexander F. Walker, Dr. P. W. Snyder, Frank J. Over, of Hollidaysburg; Dr. W. A. Nason, of Roaring Spring; John Fiske of Altoona, and others. Altoona Times, Wednesday, July 15, 1903
