The election of officers resulted as follows: General manager, Rev. Eugene McCahan of Port Royal; president, Mrs. J. Blair Black of Tyrone; vice president, Mrs. Frank McCahan of Birmingham; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Chester Smith of Birmingham. It was decided to hold the reunion next year at the same time and place. Interesting talks were heard from Rev. McCahan, Bruce McCahan of Amsterdam, N.Y., Mrs. Robert McMurray of Belle Meade, N.J., and Mrs. Ella Maloney of Tyrone, the latter being the oldest member of the clan. The four told of many historical facts of the McCahan clan and of the fact that John K. McCahan had printed the first newspaper in Huntingdon, Pa., the Huntingdon Gazette, in 1801. A copy was on exhibition. A complete family tree of the seven generations also was exhibited. This family tree was prepared by Rev. Eugene McCahan and Mrs. J. Blair Black and drawn by John McCahan, VI. Members of the clan present were: Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McCahan of Rochester. N Y., Capt. and Mrs. Robert J. McMurray of Belle Meade, N. Mr. and Mrs. James Abaman, Mrs. Mary Bland of Altoona, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Huffman and daughter Donna, William Huffman of Altoona, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson and son Robert of Dobbs Ferry. N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gillen of Tamaqua, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carlson and daughter Phyllis, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bulick of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Fred Igou and children Connie and Freddie of Niagara Falls. N. Y., Mrs. Nora Struble of Grosse Point, Mich. Mrs. Margaret Stroup and son John, Mrs. Ella Maloney, Mrs. May Bulick, Mr. and Mrs. J. Blair Black, Ardienne Stroup, Mr. and Mrs. E. M.
