Mr. and Mrs. John McKerihan and family, who will leave Tuesday, March 1, for their new home at Kitscoty, Alberta, Canada, were given a delightful farewell party Friday, February 18th, by their friends and neighbors of Fair Valley and Fredericksburg, whom they made during their residence in Fair Valley. All joined in making the occasion a jolly one, participating in playing games, and also were entertained with several piano selections by Miss Gertrude Ebersole and Mrs. F. W. Brumbaugh and a number of readings by Misses Sue McKerihan and Erma Dilling and Messers. Robert and Merrill McKerihan. After these readings, lunch consisting of sandwiches, coffee, cake and fruit salad, was served by Mrs. McKerihan and the good ladies of Fair Valley. After the luncheon a number of short addresses were made by G. W. Garner, F. W. Brumbaugh, John McKerihan, Mrs. McKerihan and Miss Lula Brumbaugh.
