Morrow Have Company to Aid in Celebration On December 29, 1892, Mr. J. H. Morrow, of Arch Springs, and Miss Myrtle E. Fleck, of Sinking Valley, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, the late Mr. And Mrs. Aaron Fleck, the ceremony being performed at high noon by Rev. Dean, who was pastor of the Lutheran Church of Sinking Valley at the time. The attendants then were Miss Maud Fleck of Huntingdon and M.M. Morrow of Altoona, a brother of the groom. The wedding March was played by Miss Mary E. Green, a cousin of the bride. Having wound out a happy marriage life of twenty-five years, on Saturday, the couple celebrated their silver anniversary at a beautiful county home, Cedar Hill Farm, surrounded by six children, relatives and friends. The celebration was an all day affair and in spite of the zero weather, guests began arriving early. On entering the home each was greeted kindly by the silver bride and groom, dressed almost as on the day of the original wedding. The house was beautifully decorated with the traditional entwined silver ribbons, potted plants and lavishly decorated Christmas tree. At noon, the dinner was served which was greatly enjoyed after which the time was spent in renewing old acquaintances. Excellent music was furnished by Misses Mary and Helen Morrow and Faye Kephart. Vocal selections were rendered by William Morrow. A number of beautiful gifts, consisting of silver, fine china, linen and cut glass were received. During the festivities, the engagement of Miss Edna Morrow, eldest daughter of the couple, and Mr. John Keatley, of Tyrone, was announced. They put a lace curtain over Edna's head and had her walk down the stairs while her parents announced the engagement. Just before the guests went home, Edna lost the diamond out of her engagement ring, but later found it among the china. The day came to a close all too soon and after wishing the couple many happy years and expressing a wish to be present at the golden anniversary, all departed for home. The following persons, including a number who were present twenty-five years ago, enjoyed the celebration: The six children of the couple, William, a prominent school teacher at Arch Springs Miss Edna, a graduate nurse of Tyrone; Misses Mary, Helen, Dorothy and Eva; Mr. & Mrs. Austin Morrow, Mr. And Mrs. John W.
