MEN RETIRE IN YEAR Altoona Veterans Added to The Pennsy's Honor Roll Have Given Service Totaling 1,315 Years. The names of thirty Altoona men who were employees on the Middle division of the Pennsylvania railroad were added to the company's honor roll within the past year through retirement from the service. They have continued their residence in the city, are enjoying their well-earned rest and some of them are occupying their time at some other occupation. The total railroad service of the thirty totaled,1,315 1/2 years of an average of forty-four years each in the company's employ. Their ages total 2,019 years and in years they average slightly more than 67. They served in the railroad crafts as follows: Engineers, 6; conductors, 4; brakeman, 4; signalman, 2; laborer, 2; oilers, 3; carpenter, 1; clerk, 1; car inspector, 1; airbrake inspector, 1; hostler, 1; block operator, 1; fireman, 1; and lamp-room attendant, The veterans include the following: Howard Rilling, 4200 Logan Ave.; W.
