Henderson, of Harrisburg, spent yesterday in town. Miss Elizabeth G. Hays, of 421 Union street, left yesterday for New York city, where she will visit her sister, Mrs. Frank B. Kelly. Mrs. Anna E. Cole, of Coatesville, returned home yesterday, after a visit of two weeks to Hollidaysburg friends. G. W. Gaynor and F. C. Middleton, of Hollidaysburg, were business sojourners here yesterday. Miss Helen Hartsock, of Spruce street, left yesterday for an extended western trip, with Little Rock, Arkansas, as her destination. Miss Margaret Stevenson, a teacher in the local public schools, has gone to her home in McVeytown to spend the vacation period. Miss Ada Henry, of Bradford, has returned home after a pleasant visit to Hollidaysburg friends. Charles Hale Marks, a student at Hahnemann Medical college, Philadelphia, has returned home for the summer vacation. Mrs. C. H. Feather has returned from spending a few days with relatives in Huntingdon. Mrs. George Fleming, of Gallitzin, has returned home after a pleasant visit here with friends. Mrs. Mary Kyper has returned to her home in Mt. Union, after a pleasant visit with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Yocum, of Mt. Union, have returned to their home, after spending a few days in the city. J. C. Barr, the grocer at Union avenue and Seventeenth street, was called to Mifflin yesterday by the death of his sister. Miss Alverta Norris has returned to her home in Mt. Union, after spending several days here with relatives and friends. Major W. H. H. Bell and wife, of Patton, have returned to their home after spending a few days with their son, Lincoln Bell. T. N.
