Some six weeks ago, Mrs. Nettie, wife of Photographer W. H. Agnew, of 1136 North Lincoln avenue, Tyrone, with the two children, went to Bedford to visit her mother, Mrs. B. M. Blymyer, at that place. About a week after her arrival at her mother's home, George Alton Agnew, the eldest child, was stricken with typhoid fever, from which he never fully recovered, and died of that disease, and resulting causes combined, Sunday evening, July 9, at 7.30 o'clock. The little boy was born at Bedford, Pa., June 21, 1893, and at death was aged 6 years and 18 days. The parents and one brother, Richard Louis, survive. Mr. and Mrs. Agnew have resided in Tyrone cine 1894. George Alton was a bright, pleasant little fellow, to whom the parents were much attached and their loss is severely felt. The heartfelt sympathy of their friends and acquaintances in this community is with them in this the hour of their great affliction. The young may die, the aged must. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Blymyer at Bedford this evening at 5 o'clock. Interment in the cemetery at that place. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, July 11, 1899
