He was born in Freedom township, April 4th, 1834, and was therefore aged 71 years, 3 months and 7 days. In 1855 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Reininger. For many years he was an employe of the paper mill but had to quit work in 1903. His sudden death was caused by an affection of the heart. Mr. Albright became a member of the German Baptist church 44 years ago and in the faith he died. He was a good neighbor and a man who provided well for his family and by them as well as his neighbors he will be much missed. In politics he was identified with the democratic party and adhered closely to its principals. His funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, the procession leaving the house at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Elders D. B. Maddocks and D. M. Adams and interment was made in the Albright cemetery south of town. Deceased is survived by his wife and the following named children: Samuel R., Albert, David, Aaron, Obediah, Charles and Mrs. Sarah McAnia [McIlnay - ed.]. One son, Harry, died in infancy. Thirty six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren are living. One brother also survives him, Henry Albright who resides at Renovo. Mr. Albright lived in the vicinity of Roaring Spring for 36 years.
