MRS. ELIZABETH ALE,

Widow of Ezra Ale, formerly a prominent architect of this city, died 
Friday morning in Pittsburg.  She was a daughter of Aaron Shugart and 
was born at Bald Eagle in the year 1835.  She was married to Mr. Ezra 
Ale in 1854 and resided for a number of years in Clearfield.  While a 
resident of this city she was a consistent member of the First Lutheran 
church.  She is survived by her son L. Harvey Ale, with whom she made 
her home in Pittsburg for the past six years, and one daughter, Mrs. 
James Little of San Diego, Cal.  The remains will be brought to Altoona 
Sunday at 12:30 o'clock for interment in Greenwood cemetery.  Services 
to be held at 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the First Lutheran church, 
conducted by the Rev. Marion J. Kline, D.D.
