Jim was about half-witted and his queer fancies and comical notions caused merriment many and many a time. Every one knew him, from the smallest boy to the oldest inhabitant, and when they hear of his death many will sigh, and say "poor old man!" The Register, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, March 29, 1876
