Allcutt, formerly a printer in the employ of the Altoona Times, died at his home in Denver, Col., at 6 o'clock on Wednesday evening, after an extended illness, of tuberculosis, a telegram announcing the sad intelligence having been received yesterday by his brother-in-law, B. C. McCormick, 208 Third avenue. Mr. Allcut was born and raised in this city and learned the printing trade here, leaving for Denver in November 1916, when his health began failing. He was a son of David and Jane (deceased) Allcutt. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Ridenour Allcutt, his aged father, one brother and two sisters: Samuel and Mrs. Florence M. McCormick of this city, and Mrs. A. G. King, of Philadelphia. The body will be brought to the home of his sister, from which funeral will be held at an hour to be announced later. Allcutt, who died on Wednesday evening in Denver, Col., arrived in this city on Sunday evening and was taken to the home of his brother-in-law, Bruce McCormick, of 208 Third avenue, from which place the funeral will take place this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
