CHARLES WILLIAM ALLEMAN

Of 606 Fourth street, died at his home at 2.25 o'clock yesterday afternoon 
after an extended illness.  He was born in Altoona but had resided for 
thirty-five years in Pittsburgh before returning to Altoona nine years ago.  
His wife, Mrs. Nora G. (Haas) Alleman, died six years ago and a sister, Mrs. 
Maude Mattern, on Sept. 2, 1937.  Surviving are two daughters, Fern and Jane, 
at home, his mother, Mrs. Margaret J. Alleman, and one brother, John C. 
Alleman, both of the city.  Mr. Alleman had been a member of the Mount 
Washington Presbyterian church in Pittsburg.  The body may be viewed at the 
Axe funeral home.

ALLEMAN - Funeral services for Charles William Alleman of 606 Fourth street 
will be conducted by Rev. Ralph H. Stoll of the Calvary Baptist church, at 
the Axe funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.  Interment in 
Greenwood cemetery.  Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home, 413 
Howard avenue, after noon today.
