ALLENDER - In Williamsburg, on the 24th ult., Mrs. Eleanor D. Allender, 
in the 77th year of her age. Mrs. A. was distinguished for her force of 
character. She was a woman of strong will, together with great energy, 
perseverance, and courage. She will be missed not only in the family 
circle, but also in the sick chamber of her neighbors, to which at 
every call, she was ready to repair.
