An Aged Lady Killed on the Railroad at Tyrone.

  Mrs. Barbara Tobias Alison, an aged lady who resided on the Plummer 
farm, in Snyder township, near Tyrone, where she was housekeeper for 
Hiram Cousins, met a sudden death at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, at 
the water station, just east of Tyrone depot.  She was on her way to 
the town and was standing on the track waiting for a westbound train to 
pass when Atlantic express struck and instantly killed her.  She was 
aged 71 years and was the widow of a soldier.  She leaves two children, 
Mrs. David Davis, of Washington, Pa., and Calvin Allison, of 
Petersburg.  The remains were interred at Petersburg today.
