Mrs. Rebecca Alloway.

  Mrs. Rebecca Alloway, of Altoona, died on Sunday.  The deceased's 
maiden name was Rebecca McCune.  She was born at Woodbury, this county, 
on June 1, 1824, and in 1841 moved to Altoona, where she resided until 
called home.  Her husband, Abram Alloway, died on April 2, 1863.  She 
is survived by the following children: Mrs. Thomas Orr, Mrs. John 
Albright, Mrs. W. O. Burtnet, William and Samuel Alloway, of Altoona; 
James Alloway, of Philadelphia; Mrs. John Alloway, of Chicago.  One 
brother, Samuel McCune, of Kansas, a sister, Mrs. Nancy Moore, of Bald 
Eagle, thirty-two grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren also 
survive her.
