GEORGE ALTMANSHOFER

Died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Johanna 
Smithammer, Bell avenue and Eight street, aged 74 years.  Death was 
caused by uraemia.  Deceased had been a resident of this city for 
twelve years.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.  He is 
survived by five children - Louis, Max, John, Mrs. Johanna Smithammer 
and Mrs. Mary Hummel, all of this city.  The funeral will be held 
tomorrow forenoon, the cortege to leave the house at 8.20 and proceed 
to St. Mary's church, where at 9 o'clock mass will be solemnized over 
the remains.  Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
