INA AMICK Wife of Arthur Amick of New Enterprise, R.D. No. 1, died this morning at 7.05 o'clock in the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, following the birth of a son. She was a daughter of Ira and Ella (Teeter) Eshelman and was born at New Enterprise May 16, 1913. She was united in marriage with Mr. Amick at Winchester, Va., on March 14, 1938. Mrs. Amick resided at New Enterprise all her life and was a graduate of the Replogle High school at New Enterprise and was a devoted member of the Church of the Brethren there. Surviving are the parents, residing at New Enterprise, the husband and infant son, Ronald Eugene; five sisters, Mrs. Fern Fluke of Loysburg, Mrs. Grace Fletcher of Waterside, Catherine Eshelman and Mrs. Mary Amick, both at home, and Mrs. Effie Hall of Hopewell, R.D.; two brothers, John Eshelman, in the United States army, and Blaine Eshelman of New Enterprise; one half-sister, Mrs. Leone Cessna of Rainsburg, and one half-brother, Frank Eshelman of New Enterprise. Friends will be received at the home of her parents at New Enterprise after noon on Wednesday. AMICK - Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Amick of New Enterprise, R.D. No. 1, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the residence, in charge of the pastor, Rev. Wilfred N. Staufer. Interment in the New Enterprise cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Eshelman, at New Enterprise after noon on Wednesday. Altoona Mirror, August 3, 1943
