She was born at Buffalo Mills Dec. 7, 1891, a daughter of Ambrose and Fanny (Arnold) Hanks, and married S. Guy Amick, who died Feb. 4, 1957. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Hostler, Mrs. Virginia Horner and Mrs. Jean Patterson of the city, Miss Alma of Huntington, W.Va., Mrs. Irma Mowry of Corry and Mrs. Margie Osborne of Damascus, Md.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Neal C. of Altoona and Ray E. of Hollidaysburg. She was a member of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
