Ammerman of 1010 Twenty-second avenue, died at her home at 8.30 o'clock this morning after having been ill for the past ten days. She was born near Everett, Bedford county, on March 19, 1864, a daughter of Jeremiah and Hester (Grubb) Shaw, and married Mr. Ammerman on April 20, 1891, residing in Altoona ever since. Surviving are her husband, three sons, [Webster?] T. of Richmond, Va., Wahl S. of York and Lloyd S., at home, and three grandchildren. Mrs. Ammerman was a member of the First Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the Gilden funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. AMMERMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Ann Ammerman of 1010 Twenty- second avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Gilden funeral home by Rev. Luke H. Rhoads.
