Charles Amrhein died yesterday morning at the Mercy hospital at 3.25 o'clock after a short illness from pneumonia. He was born in Altoona on Sept. 4, 1880, the son of William and Minnie Amrhein, and was married, his wife dying five years ago. He was employed in the steel car shop of the Pennsy and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Surviving are the parents, three children, Ardella and William, both at Lewistown, and Pauline at home, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. George Sherer of McKees Rocks, Mrs. Mary Keister of Millerstown, Mrs. Arthur Wolf, Mrs. John Marx and Mrs. George Watts, all of Altoona, and Frank Amrhein at Vancouver barracks, Andrew and Michael, both in France, and George, William, August, Robert and Jacob, all of Altoona.
