ANDERSON Of 2108 Nineteenth street, died at 10.55 o'clock last night at his home after an illness of several years. He was born in Altoona, Dec. 19, 1863, the son of George W. and Eliza (Yon) Anderson. Surviving are his wife, Annie M. (Schultz) Anderson; two daughters, - Mrs. James L. Havens of Tyrone and Mrs. Robert C. Andrews of Altoona; also these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Clara Rickel, William Y., and George B. Anderson, all of Altoona; Mrs. Sue Cassidy of Philadelphia; two grandsons, Robert C. Anderson, jr., of Altoona, and J. Howard Havens of Tyrone. Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Lutheran church and the B. of L.F. and E., No. 287. He was a former hostler in the East Altoona roundhouse and retired in September, 1933, after forty-seven years' service. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were married fifty-five years ago in the First Lutheran church by Rev. Fiery. Friends are being received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. ANDERSON - Funeral services for Howard E. Anderson of 2108 Nineteenth street will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon by Rev. Luke H. Rhoads. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
