Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 11, 1893, in Tyrone, a son of Harvey and Annie (Seeger) Anderson. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Nixon, whom he married April 1, 1915, at Cumberland, Md.; two sons, John of Montoursville and James of Tyrone, and six grandchildren. Mr. Anderson served with the old Sheridan troop on the Mexican border. He was employed by the Chicago Rivet and Machine company and later by the Juniata Packing company, Tyrone. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal church. Friends will be received at the Graham & Getz funeral home, Tyrone, after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, August 5, 1955
