JOHN APPLEMAN

  John Appleman, of Claysburg, died at the Altoona hospital last 
evening at 10:50 o'clock, after suffering for several months from a 
complication of diseases.  He is survived by a wife and one son, 
Clarence, both at home.  Appleman was admitted to the institution on 
December 8, and continued to grow weaker since Sunday, when he suffered 
a relapse.  His remains were taken in charge by Undertaker Gilden and 
will be sent to Claysburg today.
