Mrs. Nannie Brannen Appleman died on Saturday night at 9 o'clock of influenza at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brannen at Canoe Creek. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brannen and was born at Canoe Creek thirty-two years ago. She was a consistent member of the United Brethren church and was a highly esteemed Christian woman. She is survived by her husband and two sons; also by her parents. The funeral services will be held at her late home this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the United Brethren cemetery at Canoe Creek. Both services and interment will be private.
