MRS. CAROLINE ARBSTER

Of Broad Avenue and Forty-fourth street, widow of Rank Arbster, died at her home 
at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning after six months' illness.  She was born in 
Austria on Oct. 15, 1852, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Knapp, but had resided 
for the past forty-five years in Altoona.  Surviving are six sons and daughters, 
Mrs. Annie Bennett and J. I. Arbster of the city, Mrs. Harry Halk of Huntingdon, 
Frank of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Edith Olewine of Hollidaysburg and Herman J. Arbster, 
as home, fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Arbster was a 
member of the Schum Memorial United Brethren church.  Friends are being received 
at the Lafferty funeral home.
