Charles Wesley Armstrong, of 811 Nineteenth street, died at 2.15 o'clock yesterday morning at the Altoona hospital of obstruction of the bowels following a brief illness. He was admitted to the institution on Christmas day. Deceased was born in Altoona on July 26, 1856 and had resided here [f]or some years. He was married December 11, 1877 to Loraine Salsburg who survives with one son, Irvin, of Pittsburg, and three grandchildren. A son, Wilson R., preceded him to the grave about six months ago. He was employed as a stationary engineer by the P.R.R. company. He was a member of the Red Men and Trainmen's Relief association. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
