He was employed as a blacksmith in the Pennsylvania shops and was born January 20, 1884, in this city and spent his entire life here. He was the son of John W. and Ulla (deceased) Arnsparger, and is survived by five brothers and one sister as follows; Mrs. Earl Orr, John W., Frank F., Clyde, C., all of this city; Benjamin O., of California; and Fred F., in the U.S. service at a camp in Maryland. He was a member of the Second United Brethren church and the P.R.R. relief. Funeral services will be held from his late home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. W. Winey, pastor of the Second United Brethren church. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday February 19, 1919, page 10
