MRS. EVA ARTHUR.

  Saturday morning last at 3 o'clock Mrs. Eva Arthur, beloved wife of 
Charles H. Arthur, died of typhoid fever, after an illness of five 
weeks' duration.  The deceased was the daughter of George E. and Susan 
Peters and was aged 23 years.  She leaves her sorrowing husband to 
mourn the departure of an ever affectionate wife and the children - the 
youngest but five weeks old - who will miss the loving attention of a 
devoted mother.  Besides the relatives, many friends and acquaintances 
will regret her untimely death.  The funeral will take place at 2 
o'clock this afternoon, from the family residence, No. 309 Seventh 
avenue.  Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
