Askew, aged 21 years and 10 months. OBITUARY. - Harry C. Askew, eldest son of Jos. W. Askew of General Superintendent Gardner's office, died of consumption early on Monday morning, in the 21st year of his age. Although but a youth in years, Harry Askew was beloved by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. For some time past he has been rapidly fading away, and although everything was done for him that medical skill could devise, yet his disease had so fastened itself in his system that it was only a matter of time when death would claim him. To his bereaved parents he leaves behind him as their legacy, a clear record - a life of love, of purity and disinteressted kindness, and the blessed assurance that he now lives in the purer and better life above. May the God of all grace and consolation by his spirit sustain and comfort them in this affliction.
