Atkins, brother of Mrs. Frank Jones of 908 Clark street, Hollidaysburg, a member of the field remount squadron 323, died of lobar pneumonia on Nov. 16. The soldier's sister, Edith, died in Pittsburgh, on Nov. 10 and he had not learned of her death when he passed away. He was 25 years old and entered the service on Sept. 21, 1917, training at Camp Lee. He was a printer by trade and worked in the Pittsburgh Press office before entering the service. He usually spent his vacations with his sister and brother, George at Hollidaysburg. Besides the latter he is survived by a brother and sister in Pittsburgh, Belle and Charles.
