ABRUM R. AUKER

Of 423 Willow avenue, died at the Altoona hospital yesterday afternoon 
at 1.50 o'clock after a short illness.  He was born in Altoona Jan. 11, 
1882, a son of Ephriam and Sarah (Rhoads) Auker.  His wife, Mrs. Anna 
(McConnell) Auker, died seven years ago.  Surviving are two daughters, 
Mrs. Mae Hamil of Altoona and Mrs. Louella Menzer of Indiana, Pa.; a 
son, Franklin of Altoona; two sisters, Mrs. May Dillen of St. 
Augustine, Fla., and Mrs. Sarah Cassady of Altoona; two brothers, 
Ephriam of Jersey City, N.J., and Albert F. of Altoona, and nine 
grandchildren.  Mr. Auker was employed by the Suter Chemical company 
and was a member of the Methodist church.  Friends will be received at 
the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

AUKER - Funeral services for Abrum R. Auker of 423 Willow avenue will 
be held Friday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock at the Axe funeral home in 
charge of Rev. Ira Duvall.  Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.  Friends 
are being received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this 
evening.
