JOEL S. AUKER

Died last evening at 5 o'clock, at his home in Eldorado, aged 58 years.  
Death resulted from pneumonia, after a brief illness.  He was born in 
Mifflin county, but for some years past he had been engaged in farming 
at Eldorado.  He is survived by these children: Mrs. Ella Smith, of 
near Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Millard Smith and Mrs. Fannie Hawk, of 
Altoona; Mrs. Maggie Hearst, of Ephrata, Pa.; Mrs. Lizzie Thorpe and 
two other daughters of Iowa.  One brother and three sisters are still 
living.  Deceased was a member of the Mennonite church.  The funeral 
will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock; interment in Carson 
Valley cemetery.
