Mrs. Ida May Aults, a former resident of this town, passed away at her home in Pitcairn on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, death being due to blood poisoning, from which she had been suffering for only three days. Ida May Aults was a daughter of John and the late Pauline Williams. She was born in Tyrone on October 10, 1877, and resided her up until three years ago, when she moved to Pitcairn. On October 12, 1898, she was united in marriage with Walter J. Aults, who survives with the following children: Helen, Hazel, Eleanor, and Ruth. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Charles Williams, of Clearfield; Mrs. Anne Starkey and Jesse Williams, of Pitcairn; Mrs. Minnie Houser and Benjamin Williams, of Tyrone; and Mrs. Edward Bryan, of Bigler, and Percy Williams, now with the American Expeditionary Forces in France. The remains were brought to Tyrone and taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Minnie Houser, on West Eighteenth street. Mrs. Aults was a devoted member of the First United Brethren church, of Tyrone, at which the funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. G. Sawyer, assisted by Rev. J. A. Beard. Interment will be made at Bald Eagle. Altoona Tribune, Saturday, July 27, 1918, page 5
