Miss Sarah Ayres, daughter of Mr. George Ayres, died in Gaysport on Wednesday night. It is said Miss Ayres took sick while in the act of seeking religion, and we have also been told that the day on which she was buried was the day appointed for her marriage. Before her sickness she was engaged in the paper mill at Roaring Springs [sic], to which place her body was taken on Thursday morning train for burial. Truly in the midst of life we are in death.
